2016-05-14 Sharons Ride

Below are only a few photos captured throughout the day.  The 50 mile route began at 730am the 20 mile route began at 10:30 and the walk began at noon.  It was a full day of cyclists and walkers enjoying the awesome weather while raising awareness for the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut.  There is so much to say.....and I will at another time......I just wanted to add a few photos from my view.  It is no where near complete for the event......just a quick view from my perspective.  "Thank You" to everyone for the love, the help and the support.  "Thank You" to all the sponsors, "Thank You" to all the volunteers, "Thank you" to all of the Leaders who stepped up to assist in making the ride route a safe one!!! "Thank You" to the Peanut Butter Jelly Man (you know who you are!) and to the night riders marking the yellow routes along the way (vandals!!!) and especially to all of you  promoting and selling the ride.  None of this would be successful without you.
As a team we raised awareness, we brought over 100 walkers and cyclists to the event and we raised funds which exceeded our designated goal.  I am not 100% sure of how much of a difference we made for the future, but we were certain to raise awareness on May 14th.  We made a presence, We raised awareness, we raised a few funds for the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut and we had a great day along the coast.
